There's a default option when posting that's labeled "automatically retrieve titles from external links". I respectfully submit that it sucks - when I try to post http://www.timesert.com/, instead I get ++ TIME-SERT Threaded inserts for stripped threads, threaded inserts, thread repair stripped sparkplug's, Ford sparkplug blowouts, threaded inserts threaded, repair stripped threads, stripped threads, inserts threaded inserts, Ford spark plug repair,.
Because there's no rhyme or rule in what other web developers will put in that title, there's no way to know what a URL I put in my post will actually appear as, and it's a PITA to have to come back in and uncheck that option and edit my post to remove all that weirdness when it comes back with something like the above. Could we get rid of that option? Or at least not have it default to on?
To be clear, I don't care if it wants to convert a URL to a hyperlink, it's the added text that I didn't type that bugs me.
