Aux lights

Right now I run some Walmart brand 6 inch halogen lights, but they throw that ugly yellow light and don't do to great when it comes to lighting up the trail. I know a lot of people have liked the hid or xenon lights and I know that they make aux lights in hid, any opinions on brands? The cheaper the better! Even if not hids does anyone know any decent lights that throw a decent amount of white or blue light? Thanks!

Why would you want blue lights if you want to have lot of light off road? Blue light and brightness don't go together.
If you want white light, look at LED light bars.
I think best bang for your buck is the pro comp 130 watt lights. They are around $40 a piece IIRC.

check out ebay for hellas. I got mine as a set new for $60. They're only 55w but I'm going to use 100w bulbs as my wiring can hold it.

I think LEDs are a better choice for offroad lighting, but even a cheapy set of halogen 55s are going to double your light output compared to just your lowbeams. One suggestion for the OP - mount them high and then aim them low. The guy in front of you will thank you.
