The platform is made out of thin gauge steel that I cut and bent. Its mounted using 3 existing bolts.

I have my front aux lights, power inverter, and a secondary fuse block in the rear (roof lights/power inverter) connected to the block pictured above. I do have one fuse block that turns on with the ignition in the center console.
Under hood: PN: 5026 - 12 Circuit with Negative Bus Fuse Block With Cover

I think it's personal preference. Most people go that route. I just wanted it to go for a cleaner look and hide the wires as much as possible (OCD).
in regards to the fuse box u put it would u say using a high end type amp wiring kit work for the install in regards to the positive wire and negative wire. I normally add a waterproof inline fuse holder (AGU or ANL) for the positive lead wire between the battery and the fuse block. No need for a full amp kit.
I was think of goin with a 4 or 8 gauge kicker or lighting audio amp kit since it has the power and ground wire and a fuse too. What do u think is there a fuse u recommend?

Resurrecting this OLD thread but I’m curious if you have any more photos of your bracket? I am currently building one for myself and curious where you mounted yours. The v8 seems to have little room to work with on the drivers side but that is where I would like mine mounted. I built a prototype polycarbonate bracket today and it’s weaving around all this other gack. Would love to see your photos or if anyone else with a v8 has built one specifically on the drivers side.

I have been using that write up and it’s amazing. But it’s for a Tacoma which seems to have a considerable amount of room compared to the v8’s

Or save yourself the hassle, like I wish I did and just buy one of these. So so clean and lots of room to add stuff. Pricey, but worth it IMHO.

I'm installing one now (slowly) and I'm not SUPER impressed. If you're going to be routing the wiring underneath the panel, there's no way to access the fasteners from the top. I'll probably have to modify the side that bolts to the fender. It's a decent product, but could benefit from a little more refinement.

This is the first I’m seeing of this, Thank you for the link. They need to label themselves better or I need to learn how to google better because I thought I had looked everywhere.
Seems quite simple but I am concerned of its height after installing a Bussmann fuse relay box. Mine is in the mail so I don’t have an actual height for measurements but I was trying to keep the mounting level lower. Maybe I don’t need to worry that much.
I see how that could be a pain but I also see why they did that (the bracket beneath it gets in the way) That’s the same fuse relay box I am going to be using. I’ve ordered mine assembled off of eBay but it’s the same unit. Is there enough clearance to mount that fuse box on top of the bracket? Do you by any chance know the measurements of that Bussmann box?
I have a crude prototype designed that weaves its way through the mess and sits a little under an inch lower than the top of the factory fuse box. I was preparing myself for the Bussmann to sit quite high. I also relocated the little heat sink unit closer to the fender wall so I would have more room beneath the fuse box for wiring. But if I can get away with having a larger flat surface like the bracket above then maybe that design is better.
Thoughts?

I agree. I hadn't heard of them before this past week. I was like...where was that when I looked around?!?!? With that said, I think the Bussman "might" be a little tall for that bracket. You might get away with it if you mount it far in closest to the engine since the hood gets higher there. Maybe see what the return policy is or give the guy a call/send a message asking him if he knows if it'll clear.
