**DISCAIMER** I am not a professional mechanic, electrician, or anything of the sort. Any damage that may be caused to your vehicle is your own fault. The following is simply what I did in my own vehicle.
Ok guys, whilst getting started with modding my runner I decided that it would be smart to do things right this go round. The first thing that I wanted to do was create an auxiliary relay bank that would be able to support my future electrical accessories giving me four relays that were ignition activated and four that were activated by switches.
Once I decided that this was the route I wanted to go I began to research but could not find anything that I liked other than the S-Pod but I could not justify the price so I decided to make my own.
The parts that were used for making this were:
2x Hella H84988001 4 gang relay box
1x Hella H84960051 16 gang fuse block
1x 70A Bussman Circuit breaker
1x Blue Seas 10 gang Bus Bar
4x 4 AWG ring terminals
1x 8 gang terminal block
10 ft 4 AWG wire
16 AWG wire of your choosing
16 gauge sheet metal
Radio Shack project box
Heat Shrink
Butt Connectors
First up was wiring up the relay boxes as they come with pins that must be crimped/soldered. I began by wiring the control circuit (Pin 85) for the relays.
I began with the relays that would be activated by the ignition, daisy chaining them together.

I then connected the wires that will go to the outlet side of my switches to the remaining four relays.

Then I wired the ground using the same daisy chaining method to wire the relay grounds (Pin 86).

I then connected the battery input wires (Pin 30).

And finally for the relays was the power output (Pin 87).

To connect the fuse block connect pin 30 to whichever output fuse position you would like to use for each relay. Then make a jumper from each fuse position to the Blue Seas Bus Bar.

I then mounted them on the bracket I made out of 16ga sheet metal and mounted it in the vehicle.

The next step was to connect each of the power output leads to the terminal bar inside of the project box.

Then I ran the 4 AWG from the bus bar to the circuit breaker and the 5 wires that left Pin 85 of the relays to the other side of the engine bay.

Then the wires separate. The 4 AWG goes to the circuit breaker which is mounted on another 16ga sheet metal bracket.

The switched wires then go to the inside of the vehicle.

Once the wires go into the vehicle the wires that go to individual relays are connected to their respective switches outlets, then make jumpers from each switch on their inlet side and connect them to a fuse tap on a circuit that is only live when the switch is on. From this same fuse tap connect the wire that activates the other four relays.
