Auxiliary Transmission Cooler

I am thinking I want to get an auxiliary transmission cooler installed on my 2010 Gen 5. In the not too distant future, I expect to be doing more towing and beach driving, both of which can stress a transmission. In stalled one on my 1998 GC and never had a transmission issue. Back then, I did it myself, but I have no time or interest in doing it myself on my 4Runner.

Is there a Toyota factory option that the dealer can install?

Does an aftermarket one void any warranties?

My next issue is going to be, who am I going to get to install it? I don't want some hack a Pep Boys to rip apart my 4Runner.

its really fairly easy.. if you've done it before.. you or any of us would do it about the same.. there are shops like Meineke that have guys that will do it for you i'm sure

I was simply asking if there was a thread already. A simple "yes" and I would have searched away.

I neve quite understand why someone asking about a buried topic really pissed people off.

You never indicated above that you "searched" and did not find anything. That makes a lot of difference. Nobody can read your mind. And I think I can speak for most, nobody was "pissed", maybe a bit frustrated, (but not necessarily directly at you) because this type inquiry happens a lot, and the same answer keeps coming up, use the search function. Ya get a little tired if you have to say it 30 times a month........hope you understand. Be Safe.

I just won't rely on the search feature in Tapatalk anymore. I love the app, but I don't understand why the search doesn't work.

Tapatalk calls the search function of vBulletin, which ... has issues.
