Average Cost of a Rear ARB Locker.

Did anyone have a rear air locker installed on their 4:100 rear? Front and rear would be slick.

ARBs runs deals sometimes where you can get a free compressor when you buy a locker, not sure how often though. I got gears at the same time as my locker so the only labor they charged me was wiring and installing the compressor (like 1 hr). I would say the labor would be ~$500 if you're not doing gears with it (which now is the best time to do that if you're running bigger than stock tires). What kind of vehicle is it going on (I don't see a current 4runner in your sig line)?

Was thinking of a 99 4x4 auto 4cyl.. I live on a hill and the winters are rough so three or four wheels clawing the snow and ice would be great. The Subie handles it 95% of the time w/o a problem and the dodge gets studs for the winter and plowing. I don't need a 4Runner for anything other than transportation in the winter. I have the dodge for the heavy stuff and the Ford goes in the barn for the winter.
