AZ advice

I will be in Arizona February 2 to the 5th and was looking for any 2wd trails I can explore in my 4runner. I will be in Anthem for the first night but I think I'm gonna head north towards Flagstaff to camp and explore? Any tips would be greatly appreciated? Or if anyone wants to meet up for a day and wheel, I'm open for just about anything.

The problem with heading north is that many of the Forest Service roads are closed for the winter... and that would comprise most of what I would recommend for you to take. Not to mention that it's usually around 10 degrees overnight in the Flagstaff area which would preclude me from even thinking of camping up there.... but I digress.

It might be a better idea to stick to areas of lower elevation for offroading. I'm not as familiar with the trails around the north part of town, but Table Mesa road heading east is pretty easy and doable with two wheel drive when it's dry. That might be a good place to go exploring.

cf coder, thank you for the reply. Looks like I won't be camping, 10 degrees sounds pretty damn cold. Table Mesa is really close to where I will be staying so I will definitely check it out. Thanks!

I live 6 miles from Table Mesa Rd and it's my "Go To" spot to wind down from whatever ales ya'
Medium height 2 wheel is easy on the three main roads down there, you can find much rougher roads off main dirt roads. Weekend access to north end of lake pleasant also in season... Free camping in many spots
