Back Spacing question...help!

Hello All,

I'm sure there is a thread or website out there that will help me but I just don't trust the kid at the wheel shop to order the right ones so I'd like to ask you all the question.

I have a 05 Limited lifted 4runner with the stock wheels and wheel spacers of 1.25 inches. I love the way look and where the wheel sits in the wheel well but id like to order new wheels and eliminate the wheel spacer. I just don't know how to convert the 1.25 inches of the wheel spacer and the stock wheels to get exactly the correct backspacing. I don't trust the kid where I'm ordering the wheels to get the right ones.

Can anyone give me the correct number for backspacing.

The answer is going to depend on what width of wheel you go with. Different answer for 8" width vs. 9" width.
