Back to the 4Runner.... New Trail Prem

Im back.... and it feels so good. Good bye FJ and hello 4Runner

Just picked up a new Trail Prem after trading in my 12' FJ. I'm already getting the bug to do something to this thing but i know i should just let it be for the summer and let it sit in... right? NOT..

So, on the FJ had a 3" Toytec ultimate lift on it and it was like riding on air and was great. I know the T4R is plush but at the least I need/ want to pick up the front end. Thinking ill just put some spacers in there till I switch out the tires on it and at that time do the Daystar or something of the like 2.5 kit.

Mods ill likely do soon - put the spidertrax on from FJ, level out the front and looking for a low-profile basket (megawarrior, Gobi or baja) once up in the air a bit. Happy to hear the suggestions on the front options (ive had both Daystar from Wheeler's Off-road as well as 5100's on prev vehicles... no complaints on either. Preference?

I don't plan to wheel this as much as the FJ although i know it is capable but we'll see what time tells there...

Anyhow, look forward to reading up and learning what this thing has to offer....

First week has been good thus far....
- blacked out the grey trim on the front and rear bumpers - Check
- installed all LED interior - Check..... debating if i want to do the puddle lights on the mirrors - looks sketchy

To think about... (I know about the search function.... just conveying my future decisions)
- install or not to install my Spidertrax 1.25" spacers??
- Bilstein 5100's up front and spacer in rear? $300 ish
- Daystar comfort ride for short term till the stock tires die (Donlop Dueler HT) ~$150
- once they die, toytec 3" or the like w/ 285s+ and stealth custom SR8 wheels

For those of you that have sold the stock tires, did it take long and what did you sell them for?

For those of you that have sold the stock tires, did it take long and what did you sell them for?

Sold mine for 350 because i didn't have patience and wanted the KO2's immediately! Had a hook up so i got 275 ko2 for 950, it was worth 600 to upgrade.
