Back up camera intermittently not working

OK, so I got a 14 Limited certified pre-owned back in October. I've noticed the back up camera intermittently not working when I put it in reverse. I'm sure this will be one of those things where I take it to the dealership, they try to reproduce it, and can't, and tell me there's nothing they can do. Does anyone know of something I can look for, or tell the dealership to look for? It's still covered under the 12 month bumper to bumper on the certified pre-owned deal, so I want to make sure and get whatever the issue is fixed before that expires. Thanks in advance.

Should definitely be covered under warranty. If you're afraid of not being able to duplicate the issue, try filming the process a few times with your phone and have the video on hand just in case.

As far as the root cause of the problem I cant speculate.

If the dash has been apart something might not be fully connected.
