Does anyone know if it is possible to retro fit a backup beeper into my existing backup camera I.E. as in a limited? Or has anyone installed a aftermarket backup beeper that they are satified with that actually works.

If what you are wanting is to sound like a delivery truck backing up, then just search for back up buzzer on Amazon. Mount it under rear bumper and wire it in with reverse lights. Should be pretty simple.

Backup sonar sensors (4) are mounted in the rear bumper, not the camera.
You can get the backup sonar system installed by your Toyota dealer, for $684 (Canadian dealer price).

Don't know how good they are, but here are some after-market solutions:

autotoys.com $118
autosonar.com $124
parkingsensors.net ?100

or better yet, hire your kid to make the noise with the back window down :)

if you want the louder version, get the 3rd row seating, they will be closer to the rear window

Im pretty sure he's looking to add the proximity sensors that beep in the cabin when you are approaching an object while backing up...not a back up alarm

Or am I misreading it
