Backfire and overall running crappy

Hi Guys, the other day my 87 Runner 22RE started having problems. She will idle fine but once you get over about 2k she starts bucking or misfiring and sometimes backfire. It has been awhile since I have tuned her up (about 20k). I replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. The plugs where in bad shape and the cap contacts were a bit worn. The plugs were dry but way out of gap. When I started the truck after the tune up it did run much smoother but the problem with the bucking, misfire, and backfire are still there. I also replaced the fuel filter and still no change. Could this be a bad injector? If so can I test them? Fuel pump? Could it be a timing issue? Coil?

TPS is good
Checked the resistance on my coil. When cold its at 1.4 ohms. Started and let it run for 10 min in 85 degree weather. Now its at 1.9 ohms. Tried the same test on my buddies 92 Toy PU and his was at 1.3 ohms hot or cold. Is my coil bad? For 27 bucks Im going to replace it in the morning and give it a shot.

Well the new coil didnt fix the problem. The new coil also reads 1.4 ohms cold and 1.9 hot. I havent had anymore time to work on the truck, thank god for good weather. I have been riding the bike since the Runner is down.

I guess next I will check the voltage to the fuel pump and then pressure test the fuel line?
