Backup camera suggestions?

Looking to upgrade my stock stereo and add a backup camera. Can anyone recommend a good camera or brand of camera that I intend to mount next to rear hatch handle? Don't want a license plate mount. Thanks!

Check out my thread. Don’t fall for the eBay license plate light cameras. They’re pretty cheap. It’s super easy to drill a small hole on your license plate light cover and mount a nice camera there. I’ve gotten a few cameras over my time.

I got a coolint CT-102BF, that’s no longer available, and it’s my favorite one.

I picked up this one in Jan, and it has the widest FOV of any camera I’ve seen. It had really nice tweaking capabilities, but the lens was almost too fisheyed. It made it hard to judge driving angle and clearance for the sides. And since so much was visible everything was smaller on my screen so I felt like I really had to focus. And the white was a little washed out. But if FOV is what’s important to you, this is a good camera.

I would recommend the coolint brand, but any 20-30 dollar camera on amazon should be a decent one. My searches focused on wide FOV cameras because I liked being able to see my bumper in the pic.
