Bad blower

Just taking a poll of everyone that has had their HVAC blower shit the bed.

Mine couldn't move air with a filter in place by 60k miles.

I went through two in my old STD DLX pickup and actually still have a spare sitting in the basement.

That said, my 2013 still "blows"

60K on a 2012 and no signs of trouble. Overall the fan blows weakly, but it hasn't changed since day one.

I'm on my 3rd after 35,000 miles and this one sounds like it's going too. All have been repaired under warranty. I had the same issue with my Tacoma

How much do they cost to replace? I drive 30k a year I can't be replacing blowers that often. Wtf Toyota

Mine still blows but 1. It's weak and 2. it sounds like it is going to die any day. Loud whining noise from it anytime it is on and it doesn't start moving a decent amount of air unless it is on full blast. One click less than full blast might as well be on low.

The have only cost me time so far. All have been warranty replacement. I have the extended warranty. The first one lasted the longest at about 15,000 miles. The do tell me every time that is probably because I use an aftermarket cabin air filter (AFE). However its never stopped them from replacing it

Just had to have mine replaced on 2010 Limited with 50,000 miles. Luckily I had extended warranty.

Mine is pretty weak, was wondering if there's an issue because damn, really not as affective as I'd like to be for a new 2016 vehicle but in over a year, 10k miles it hasn't changed, just isn't that great.

Mine works noise-free and no failure at 13k, but experience is the same as many here: the blower has been weak since day one.

I remember a thread where a guy was having issues with multiple failed blowers and then abruptly ended the thread by stating the problem was finally resolved by using a Land Cruiser blower.

Just clicked over 15k and mine works fine. I haven't noticed it being weak at all...then again my last ride didn't have AC so anything is an improvement.

2010, 72k, works as well as it ever did. Wifey's Accord puts it to shame, but nothing new there.

No kidding- our Odyssey has an incredible HVAC system too!

Yeah, what the hell? Why does the no.2 Japanese car maker have such better HVAC than the no. 1 Japanese carmaker? Six blocks and the Honda is blowing warm air!

33k miles and my air flow is noticeably worse than it used to be. My fiancee and I both made comments about it one day during the summer when it seemed like the performance significantly dropped.

My old Jeep Wrangler and my old Nissan Frontier both had much better airflow. Pretty disappointing considering I get 115 degree summers here.

that's because its a BS answer.

how would they explain all the vehicles that do not even have a cabin filter, and yet their blower motors go several hundred thousand miles before going out?
