Bad weekend

Took the boat out and managed to smash my iPhone... Conditions weren't great so I stayed inshore. Fished with tarpon and snook... No luck. Returned to the ramp to see someone backed either their boat or tailgate into my from end, how? Beyond me...

My curse with modding vehicles continues, every time I almost get it where I want... BOOM! $500 deductible.

Sorry, no pics for obvious reasons. Vehicle is in the shop now, so at least my foggy headlight issue is gonna get fixed no charge... Sorta.

In the meantime I ordered a behind the grill light mount from SOcalTRAIL that I can't go through with now in good conscience anymore. I through with modding after I get my front shocks installed. He's fabricating the batch I was in if you want to take it. $90

How has the fishing been? Snook bite down here (jupiter) is getting good. They are in the river chasing mullet and the inlet is starting to hold fish. I caught an over slot last week.

I mainly focus offshore, but the wether this spring, as you know, has been freaking terrible for getting out. Crane creek is holding a ton of mid size tarpon. I've Been hearing the Mahi are pretty thick in the 120-300' range. And yellowfin are out at the 120mile range... There's times I wish I got a larger boat but it would've been less versatile, and more expensive to operate. I like my 4.3 mi per gallon at 26kts.

Paragon1, I'm in the N. Melbourne / Suntree area and may be interested in the mount. Sorry about your luck this weekend, someone must have been jealous! You have in your description that you have 5100's installed - did you do them yourself of have a local shop do it? Let me know as it's my next mod to my '13 SR5. Thanks!

It costs me way more than $500 every time I fish for tarpon, bones, or snook, if that is any concession...
