I need one of these wash mops that will fit under my Gobi Stealth... Don't mean to derail but have to ask. Harper, do you have a specific one to recommend maybe at Amazon? Anyone else? There is only a couple inches clearance between roof and rack so it's kind of hard to clean/wash/wax underneath the mesh area! Thanks.

I installed the rack and used liberal amounts of silicone around the bolt holes on the roof and used blue threadlocker and after coming home in a torrential downpour I had some water leakage inside. I know I screwed something up now...

For those that have the Baja, can you post up pics of the rack feet on the factory holes? I think I may have to loosen mine and slide them around a little.

Here's some pics as promised. Keys to getting a good seal using RTV is to leave in those factory plastic tubes and seal around them and put a bead around that round lip under the bajarack feet. I also put a little on the bolt before I put it in.

I am trying to decide between the Baja and the Gobi. My only concern is the height of the side rails on the Baja and the pics on the Baja site don't show a straight side shot to give an idea of the height.

From the bottom rail to the top rail is 5". The bottom rail is lower than the stock rails are. I do not have pics as I have the Baja Utility rack (same rack, no sides), but I did a ton of research before making my purchase. If you do not need side rails and are worried about height, get the utility. I love mine as does everyone else I know on here that have them.

Yeah, with ratchet straps and cargo containers like Bundu boxes there's a lot of different stuff you can carry with the flat utility rack. For me the best part is being able to mount a RTT and jerry cans.

Osceola, best advice is to call or email John Gjata at BajaRack and tell him what you're looking to carry and what your height restrictions are like (he actually answers his phone and replies to emails within an hour or two).

Install is a piece of cake. Hope it arrives undamaged. Mine arrived dented and also the rack's mounting brackets didn't line up properly. Bajarack let me use it until a new one arrived. Make sure you use enough silicone to prevent leaks.

I think these photos just solidified the fact that I will be getting a Baja Rack. I just hope I can have a cross bar added in the back for when I through my snowboard rack on there. Then I will be sold.

I've got kayak saddles that fit across, what sold me on the Baja was #1 customer service reputation (awesome) and the fact that there is a "basket" area, there is a cross bar at the opening for the sunroof on one in the back, this open space is at least 55" between bars.

Ordered my rack last night and should be here in 3 weeks.

It's great, they added a few extra bars for me, do to my rig having no sunroof. They referred to it as a "FJ Cruiser style" rack.
