Honestly I think those are the perfect size tires for our 4Runners. It's just a shame those tires are like $340 a piece!!! That's the only thing holding me back from getting them. I love that they are D rated and only weigh 54 lbs too.

Agreed. They definitely arnt cheap, especially when you buy 6 [emoji2359]. But I definitely feel like they’re well suited for Toyota’s.

I’ve been so busy with the 1000 these last few weeks I literally put them on and parked the truck and it’s been sitting. So I only have one picture [emoji23] but here ya go. Picture of the race truck too because it’s way cooler than my mini van.

Hey on your setup with the 2” over on the arms. Do you have your pre load adjuster adjusted down or are you at the very top? I think your buddy Hudson said his was not even per loaded.

Also I think king ****ed up my shocks I ordered from them. I’ll find out soon when I cycle the rear. Looks like one bypass will make contact on the axle [emoji35][emoji28]

Hudson has no preload. I have less than 1/4 inch in mine.

Wouldn’t surprise me. I had a hell of a time getting my rear shocks correct.

I don’t really have a whole lot besides what’s posted on here. There’s a little bit of stuff on my instagram. Prior to the 3.0 I just had a standard king 2.5 with some valving changes everything else is the same. Next time I have the wheels off I’ll take some more detailed pictures

You said in the OP that you purchased the vehicle with a TC +2 LT kit on it already, did the previous owner disconnect KDSS or anything like that?

The Total Chaos site says that extended travel shocks won't fit on the +2 kit and I know you can't do true long travel with KDSS as the pistons won't allow it.

From total chaos:

2.5" long travel specific coil over shocks bolt into the factory coil bucket location. Extended travel shocks are too short and will not work.

I actually did that part myself. Took me about 2.5 hours cruising (I’m a bmw master technician so may want to factor that in) I could see shops charging 3-5 hours for it

They just had the front sway bar removed. The hydraulic unit with the piston and all that as well as the compete rear sway bar was still there.

Been getting some use out of this thing. No issues and I don’t think I’ve ever owned a more well balanced vehicle for different terrains. Pulled the trigger on some gears finally. Should be here in a few weeks.

Did the Mojave trail last weekend. Water crossing was semi deep. No issues all weekend it was a great time.
