Baja Utility Rack - Height off top of vehicle?

I have searched and searched and I cannot find the height of the Baja Utility Rack for the 5th gen. Can anyone tell me how high it is from the top of the trucks sheet metal (where the stock rack would be mounted)? I am trying to ensure I have adequate clearance under my garage door with the RTT mounted to a Baja before I pull the trigger on ordering things.

Their website states 1.5" and so does customer service but I am looking for someone with physical hands on experience.

If you're talking about the Baja FLAT Utility Rack, it is 3 1/8" above the mounting channel at the rear of the vehicle and 4 1/2" at the front of the vehicle where the roof lowers down to meet the windshield. Just went out and measured. So effectively the area where the RTT would be mounted would be 3 1/8".
My vehicle is 7' 6" with the RTT mounted.

Yes, that's the channel I'm referring to. The plate of the rack pillars lays pretty much flat with the sheet metal of the roof, so plus or minus ~1/8". Allowing for variances in vehicles and model years of course, but you are going to be well within the ball park if you are simply concerned whether your vehicle is going to fit within a parking structure.

Thanks so much for this...it's EXACTLY the information I was looking for. I have the same CVT tent and a 7'6" garage door opening. Looks like you also have a 2-3" lift, so I should clear easy and possibly still be able to clear with a future suspension upgrade. Plus I can gain another 1.5" by removing the top segment of the ladder and maybe another 1" by airing down. Thanks again!
