I'm also planning on doing my drivers side lower ball joint this week, do I need to get it aligned if that's all I'm replacing?

Technically you should, but I just did both of my LBJs and didn't get it aligned. I personally don't see how it matters since they are the same size and the attchment points stay the same, but I have been told a shop that you do need an alignment. I think it's just to try to get more $$ out of people personally.

Another MOOG LBJ failure just reported 11/08/13 on T4R. This one had only 8,000 miles on it since replacement.

Luckily no-one was killed.
