It won't hit the seat, but if you move the seat all the way forward you will cover up a couple of columns on the panel. You'll just have to double check your clearance before installing.

Regarding my earlier question about a CB or HAM mount, I should have been more clear. I meant that if I would be able to mount the PTT handle of a cb/ham

OK, I am a sucker for molle racks and this really makes a lot of sense to me. I have my CB and HAM mics mounted on the passenger side console anyway, I'll just move them to this and keep the really cool and dangerous stuff next to me
