My banana lives in the wallet holder, I put a cheap magnet in there to make sure that the banana doesn't fall out on bumps.

Terrible idea to put a wallet in there right now.

I may end up using both panels. Wife is a school teacher and always grading papers when in the 4Runner. I find pens in the passenger side all the time. Now she will have a fancy place to keep her pens.

Regarding my earlier question about a CB or HAM mount, I should have been more clear. I meant that if I would be able to mount the PTT handle of a cb/ham

Yeah definitely! They make lots of mounting options for them, some may just snap/clip-on, others you may have to drill into the panel or sandwich to the panel with a backing plate or washers. I'm sure you could also find a MOLLE style holder for one.
