Basic Suspension Question

Hi All
I have had my 2008 Sport V8 for a few weeks now and I am trying to understand better my options regarding leveling the truck and the labor involved for this vs slightly more upgrade to the suspension.

If I understand correctly the work is about the same whether I am just leveling with spacers or replacing Shocks or replacing Shocks and Coils?
Is this correct?

It seems I will need to remove and replace the same stuff regardless how much I upgrade so it also seems that upgrading to get a better performing suspension may be mostly just adding better parts when putting it all back together.

Am I missing something here?

I do realize that the Xreas system will also need to be removed if upgrading Shocks but otherwise?

I don't plan a lot of heavy off roading but I do get to the Mountains every year so.....
I do Tow pretty often everything from a small cargo trailer to a 17' Casita Fiberglass RV.

I have had great success for my use with Revo Rubber so I think as of now at least that this is where I will go with the 4runner too probably.

Also any idea what a shop might charge to do the suspension work?

Thanks
Ed
