I was just checking out craigslist in response to GrampsT4R's search for a 4Runnner, and I came across this:

2002 Toyota 4Runner Limited 88k Org Mi 1-Owner Fully Loaded Won't Last

I have no connection to this 4Runner, I'm just passing it along in case anyone is in search for a low mileage Limited 3rd Gen. It's almost identical to the '01 limited that I just bought a few months ago out here.

It's at a used car lot, although they get good reviews on yelp:

Looking at the rust in the engine, that's definitely not a Cali car.

Yeah, it looks like it might not be super clean, but it's getting harder and harder to find them with that low mileage.

There's a bunch on craigslist out here for $4-6k, but most of them are 2wd, and 150-200k miles. It seems like anything under 100k miles goes for over $10k.

I bet this one would go for about $11-12k, unless there's something seriously wrong with it.

Bay area you can get a 4wd auto for less than 10 with around 100k, I mean there was even a guy on here selling one with 74k for 10.5k about a month ago. Not so much for an amazing deal on this one.

I would MUCH rather have a 4Runner with say 130k miles and no rust than pay a premium for one that is rusty. It's going to bring more headaches than the low miles is worth down the road.
