They actually wanted to put me up in a hotel tonight- I said "No thanks!".
The store closed early and I just got home- All the roads were covered- including Interstate 95. Took me about twice as long as normal with zero drama. These 4Runners are incredible in the snow. Everybody was sliding and I just cruised right by without any issues at all.
Of course, I am a damn good driver...eep:

Anyway, I'm Glad to be home with the family and I'll enjoy a full day making igloos and fairy princess snow castles with my girls tomorrow!

I think I'll get up early and see if I can pull any Jeepers out of the trouble they got in though...

Oh yeah- take the blurry picture comments and shove 'em. I didn't feel like taking any.:fencing:

We got mostly sleet down on the southwest side of Charlotte. Roads were still shitty because we got some freezing rain before the sleet started. Decided to test the 4wd and it handled perfect, so I took her out for some photos:

In my neighborhood:

On the side of a backroad:

Believe it or not, on the other side of these trees is Carowinds - wanted to go do donuts in their parking lot but it was set up as a staging area for Duke Energy trucks:

Got about 2 inches of sleet and went out a little this evening. She handled it like a champ. Didnt even need to engage 4wd. Suppose to get a couple more inches tomorrow so we shall see

Just remember, all terrain tires still do not come close to the performance of a true winter tire like Blizzaks or hakkapeliitta.
