I have a 1999 Ltd, automatic. Wanting to replace the bearing in the transfer case that directly relates to the rear drive shaft. I am having difficulty locating what I believe is the correct part number. Anyone replaced this bearing before or know the part number?

You might just look into a used tcase they can be had relatively cheap... $150 or so

As of right now, that's not an option due to finances and physically dropping that t case by myself. Also, not sure where you are finding a used t case for that price? I'm not finding any less than $300.

Ah I understand... If you find yourself in that situation contact Death Cougar he usually comes through with good used parts

Can you get the bearing out of the transfer case? Typically if you can find a good bearing distributor in your area (these guys deal in bearings for machinery and industrial applications) they can help you locate where to get a similar bearing.

There was a member who rebuilt his pulleys on the 4th gen forum with brand new Koyo bearings that matched his factory ones by doing this.

Good suggestion, thanks. Unfortunately it's my primary vehicle, so can't really afford to have it disassembled for too long.
