Beep sound when going in reverse

looking for help after doing some extensive searching on past threads. I have a 2019 TRD and I'm experiencing a beep sound when i put my tranny into reverse. I have no backup sensors besides the camera. Never heard this beep sound before, any idea what this is?

It's possible the rear hatch is not closed all the way. This can cause sudden/random beeps while driving, backup, etc.

If the rear hatch isn't closed all the way; doesn't that throw a light on the dash? I've seen the light come on when i leave my sunroof open. curious to know why this wouldn't do the same if the rear hatch wasn't shut all the way. Either way i'll give that a go; thanks again.

Sometimes it doesn’t throw the light. My daughter tried to open the hatch on mine, wasn’t successful though. When I drove it and hit bumps, it would beep and flash the door open light very briefly. Took a while to figure it out!

My truck beeps if I have the parking brake on. Perhaps check the park brakes.

Might just be hill start assist kicking in if you are rolling backwards when shifting to drive. Also, the hatch beep is a good suggestion!

Is it just a single low tone beep? Mine does it sometimes. I’ll have to record it when I get home some time this week.
