BEST Dash/Console/Glovebox/Interior Accessories!

Thought this would be the best place to post this.

Just received an email from Pelican Parts (from my former Porsche owning days). They have a whole set of interior tools designed to be gentle on interior finishes. I have zero affiliation with them other than I am on their email list.

Yes there could be a wait as with everything they make is custom made. Sometimes they do make batches of things beforehand or one offs. If you follow their facebook or instagram not only do they have good sales they have items that are available as of right now. you do need to follow their direction in whatever sale they have. That said the visors are one of their better sellers and they usually runa. Bacyh every six weeks. This is the thing you get from a small shop, made in america, with a large selection with major demand.


Another note is that they also are making seat back molle covers, headreast molle covers for the front or back of the headreast ie a medical kit, tool pods, tool bags, etc lots of different things that are of interest to us. They make a great product and some of their product I used in the most austere enviornments. Its worth any wait. Love their bbd bag. Perfect with mesh velcro pockets between the seat and the shifter. Will post photos.

I'm wanting to put the FTM-400XD in the 4Runner, thinking of mounting in under the seat and getting a speaker under the dash and the head unit would be on a suction cup mount, and just put it in the glove box when parking.

Bought a couple of these last mont and was disappointed by the quality, especially for made in the USA!. Are the newer ones being sanded down so the edges don't cut you. The glove box one was a nice design but just didn't hold firm enough when the manual went on top. The designs are great just the finish that needs doing..

Perhaps they've been updated?

This thread has inspired all kinds of searches for storage solutions. Love the console organizer shared in this thread, but too cheap to pull the trigger. Going to give this $15.00 Amazon find a go. Will report back when I receive on Tuesday. Supposedly custom fit for our console. Appears I might be able to mock up some kind of tray to sit on top. We shall see.

Haven't made it through this whole thread yet; maybe already posted. Anybody tried one of these above the Salex? Wondering if it would hang too low.

The Yeti Colster matches well and keeps my water bottle from flopping around. I still haven't found a use for the little cubbies in the front of the console.

Salex Organizers offers a Center Console Tray for the 4Runner which sits above the grid organizer. I think that is what you are looking for. Your link is for a Camry.

I am interested in mounting a Scangauge in that little cubby.
I have 3D design skills and can 3D print so I was thinking about making a little hatch that has a rectangular hole to mount the module, and it would flip up on hinges.
Most of the volume of the actual cubby would be untouched, but now its covered and the cover holds the Scangauge.
The OBDII wire would be run through a hole in the top of the cubby and through the driver side panel of the center console over to the port. What do you guys think? Should be getting a Scangauge soon so I can experiment.
