Best maintenance tracker/log app?

These are all nice things. Since I just got my runner I need to start doing this.

Now with all the replies here, there HAS to be someone in IT or computer stuff that can create an app that would do what we are all wanting.

Come one guys/gals - create that app!

I think Acar does everything (assuming you have android). I'm just not a fan of the UI. And I like my spreasheet and fuelly more.

Because of this thread I ended up putting together a xls log. It was fun digging up old info to fill it. The "What did you do with your 4runner today?" thread proved to be most invaluable :D Also funny enough a few times I took photos of my odo when crossing 150K, 160K etc so that also helped to piece the puzzle together.

Great question OP - thanks for starting the discussion.

And thanks Inv4drZm and Whammy for the .xlsx ideas ... I've "borrowed" them and then gone overboard (way overboard?:noidea:) on developing my own workbook (hey, Im an accountant... I love me my .xlsx's :nerd:). Its not perfected yet - still working out exactly what I want to track, some service intervals, and some formulae and links, and what not :ranger:... But I am liking it. Attached pic 1 is the "dashboard" and pic 2 is an example of a detail sheet... cells in dashboard are linked to detail sheets and formulae drive calc's and colors. (yes, I know :nerd:)

Im also adding the info to Toyota Owners .com ... for now... Its a good concept but it is glitchy and not as user friendly as I'd like... so not sure how long my patients with it will last.

Glad my document could be useful!

I have a pretty elaborate setup for my automotive tracking...

The we built up a Microsoft Sharepoint Site collection and iPhone apps using PowerApps to track everything from service records, documentation, automatic alerts, notes, conversations, DMV, insurance, parking pass usage for guests (thanks HOA), and other things as well from things like project costs, notes, and material/parts for upgrades.

Its basically a private website where you can input information, store OneNote note books, and lists which give excel life function, but its a lot more rich and ties in with other stuff like applications you make.

For example I can create a record on my phone, scan paperwork using the camera, and get data into Sharepoint while sitting at the service desk at a dealership. I am also never at a loss for information.

Yes, we are nerds.

Glad to see Im not the only one who does this with Excel! :pound:
I had a tracker built for my 4Runner the day I got it that captures maintenance, fuel mileage, projects/mods, expenses, etc. I do trackers for EVERYthing lol. Guns, ammo, house maintenance/trackers, tools, etc :nerd:
