Best place to find a T4R with a blown eng/trans?

I'm looking for a vehicle from the southern/east coast with a blown driveline. Mine is at the point where any bolt on the frame has to be cut off. The hood has rust along the front edge, the bumpers have herpes marks, and the rear fedners/rockers are rusting. After attempting to treat what was already there, I'm convinced its too far gone and would rather start with one with way less or no rust.

I don't mind the engine/trans swap. Its a second vehicle for me, I can perform myself, and I'd rather swap in a known good driveline and swap over all of the upgrades I have performed on my vehicle.

Are there any sites out there where these vehicles are listed? I haven't had much luck on CL.

I'm in Northern Ohio BTW.

I'm partial to a 99/00 Ltd since I like having multi-mode and I already have a locker waiting to be swapped in.

Good luck on your search! I would certainly broaden the search parameters to outside of Ohio- It would be a fun road trip to rent a car to drive out of state and drag one back home.

Be patient in your search- you'll find a good one, they're out there!

If you have the ability to weld, consider getting a 2WD. MUCH cheaper, much less likely to have been beaten up, etc. Also, much more popular in warm and non-snowy areas.

If you get the same year/trim as your current truck, the electrical side will be plug-n-play. Then it is just the transmission mount and shifter hole to modify.

And you'd probably have a good motor and trans to sell to recoup costs...

Have you tried Facebook Marketplace? You will probably have multiple options after searching there...
