Best Powered subwoofer for an '07 Sport Edition 4R

Hey all.

I'm just wondering what some of you might recommend for a powered subwoofer install in my 2007 Sport 4Runner. I have the new JVC KW-NX7000 double DIN head unit installed (pretty sweet) but it's severely lacking on the bass.

I'm a novice when it comes to good car audio and I just want to add some bass to my truck without spending too much. But I'm also looking for something compact (and a good location in the truck to put it).

I figured I'd just get a powered subwoofer so that I don't have to worry about the extra components and the prices seem reasonable. Like I said, I'm just looking for a little extra bass. Not looking to go overboard.

I've seen those stealth boxes that are custom made to fit the 4Runner (but they are WAY over my budget).

What's all your thoughts on a good integrated amp/sub unit and more importantly, where do you think would be a good place to mount it in the 4Runner?

I recommend getting the jbl factory sub box and adding a small aftermarket amplifier. Most junkyards will sell the sub and factory grill for under $100.

Those stuffs you want can cause a big damage but you can look for it from your friends. All you need is a good speakers and subs. Try your talent in junks.
