Best Resale Value

Here's an interesting article ranking the top 10 2013 models for resale value. Lots of Toyota products! The 4R ranks number 5, which is no huge surprise, but check out the FJ at number 1! I was a bit surprised by the Wrangler beating the 4R, based on its known reliability issues. It seems like a lot of the vehicles on the list are somewhat specialized "niche" vehicles (I guess the 4R could be considered one of those)...

I don't know if that value is based on Mspr or what, but for my other car Honda Accord 2007, I've paid 18500 and now the KBB value is 13100. The Mspr was 22500, but with what I've paid after 5 years still I'll get more than 70% back.
PS. I have only 31K miles on it.

Please accept my apologies. After further research, I have discovered that Chrysler's reputation for quality is unparalleled in the industry. Will Toyota ever be capable of making vehicles with the same incredible quality as Chrysler? Over on the Jeep forums, they don't even have a section for mechanical issues, since they apparently never break down. Gotta go-off to the Jeep dealer to trade my 4Runner for something more reliable.:lmao:

I have the same experience. Beat the crap out of my Wranglers and they keep going. My son has my old 91 4.0 Wrangler and it is still going strong with minimal problems after 22 years.

I gotta say, I had a 2006 Wrangler and I loved it- simple and (for me) reliable. I sold it before we had the first kid. I also beat it up and never had a single problem.

One time at night in a big snowstorm I drove right up and over a concrete island at about 30 MPH. Sounded like I ripped the bottom out, but it just kept right on running.

I love my 4Runner, but I still miss my Jeep!

as I thought... talking out your as s. Chrysler makes more than 1 vehicle.... the Jeep wrangler is tried and true but like any machine has issues.... Of the 5 wranglers I have had combined I had less issues than my 97 and 2011 4r and I beat the crap out of the wranglers. If you were comparing 1st/2nd gen 4r you might have a dog in the fight. I own both now and like both so this isn't a pecker check competition with you I just hate how people spew sh1t on the internet when they don't know wtf they are talking about.:
