Best suspension setup without removing KDSS

A new pan hard very well may be able to clear the KDSS, but the strut travel isn't going to be long enough. Thr KDSS a will severely limit the available travel. Ideally, you would remove KDSS entirely and replace with with aftermarket swaybars like the Currie Antirock or Sway-a-Way

Right now, I think I'd like to keep kdss intact. Down the road if I ever decide to go bigger I will likely remove but right now I just want to go as big as possible without removing it and without losing out on capability.

If you're gonna offroad a lot and not just fireroads but actual challenging trails, I would get lower links and lower link mount skids

Where do you guys go to shop for complete packages?

To me, seems to be either:

- Toytec BOSS / 5100 package

or

- ICON

I still have a LOT research to do. I want a luxury car ride on street/freeway, while being capable offroads.

I guess I'm a bit biased towards ICON... they are firm at slower speeds but does not shake your teeth out... and super silky smooth at higher speeds which is great!

I have Bilstein's on my Pathfinder and they are good but really not that comfortable... (might not be the fault of the shocks probably the old truck's fault)

Just got the ICON 3in Overland Springs, I had heard that they significantly increase the lean, is that something that you saw when you installed them on your rig?

Just got the ICON 3in Overland Springs, I had heard that they significantly increase the lean, is that something that you saw when you installed them on your rig?

The lean comes from other things than the height of the springs, AFAIK. Be ready to add spacers to one of the springs, or adjust the front coil over lift.
I have the ICON 2" springs and got some lean when completed the ICON Stage 7 tubular lift. I added a 10 mm spacer to one spring and it all went away.

Ok so its settled. Get a good front rebuildable coilover. Now for the rear? New links? Panhard? Basically my thinking is this right now.

Do you have/ plan on having a rear steel bumper on? If so, invest in adjustable rear shocks.

Wouldn't hurt to get some nice bump stops.. especially for fronts
