Best tires for a 98 SR5?

Hey, new to the 4 Runner world and just purchased a '98 SR5 that according to the info. on the door came stock with 225/75R15 tires. It now has 16" rims and is in need of 4 new tires. I fish and hunt and paddle on occasion which take me off road somewhat and also live in the midwest where we get some decent snows from time to time. Don't have to drive this vehicle to work so would be driven around town some and then anywhere from 60 to 500 miles on the highway to get to a good paddling or hunting spot. Looking for any good recommendations on 245/70R16s or 265/70R16s. Saw the Cooper Discoverer AT3 the other day and from what I have read seems to be a decent all-around tire - any insight/experience with these or any other brands? Thanks!

Go down to the 3rd gen section and ask this. You'll get a ot more responses. Also, you'll get about 20 different answers. Most are about the same, just little preferences here and there. The ones you found are nice. They will wrk wel for what you want, although I would go a little more agressive with a Goodyear Duratrac, Kelly Safari TSR, or maybe Falken Rocky Mountains.
