Best Toyota OE Parts Pricing!

I am going to start out by making it clear I do not work for this dealership or have any interest in it. I am my own mechanic and have done everything from full timing belt changes to simpler stuff. I have searched and searched parts all over the internet and now that I am having to re-do my entire AC system on my 2000 T4R, I have put together a spreadsheet of 14 different sellers including local shops and Toyota Parts sellers on the internet. I have ALWAYS received the best darn OE parts pricing and service from Toyota of Newnan in Georgia. They ship direct and inexpensively. They ALWAYS respond immediately to my parts pricing requests and provide the part numbers as well. If you are looking for Toyota OE parts, it will be worth your while to check them out. If you don;t believe me, check em out and then compare with some other folks on the internet. As a note however, on my AC job coming up, I did buy the DENSO equivalent compressor on Amazon. The price was really good and they have a great return policy if it does not fit.

It's kind of a bold statement to say that Newnan Toyota have the best prices on a site that is sponsored by other Toyota dealerships that actually have had (trdtoyotaparts.com doesnt work anymore for some reason) cheaper prices. I have a feeling the olice: will end up :lock1: this thread for this reason.

Just a quick example that applies to me:

Camelback Toyota : 228.00 with free shipping

Newnan Toyota: 262.50 + shipping

MTD - I was expressing an opinion based on my experience and NOT trying to promote anyone! . I will check out Camelback as well. I don't really care who the Toyota parts supplier is, as long as they have inexpensive pricing on OE parts. It could be Camelback, Newnan or BFE Toyota for all I care. Looks like on Camelback you have to send them a written request for pricing rather than pulling it up on your own. That's no big deal to me if they have great prices. Thanks for the tip!

Camelback has an online store just like most dealers with parts diagrams and clearly spelled-out prices, a shopping cart/checkout mechanism, etc. I've ordered from them recently and it couldn't have been easier. There were no requests necessary.

Written request for pricing? I just ordered from parts department at Camelback last week and did everything from their online website. I even went as far as to duplicate my order on 2 other Toyota parts websites and Camelback was still cheaper even with me paying local state sales tax.

OK. I found the parts link to Camelback. (First time I went to their home page and clicked under "Parts" and got the email form.)

I actually called Newnan Toyota and then just checked Camelback's website. Here are the results:

1. Camelback Website Price: $263.84 (Part #: 88650-35100)
2. Newnan Call & Price: $256.00 (Part #: 88650-35100)

A small difference of ($7.84 more expensive at Camelback - without calling - just using their site)

Well, if you use Newnan's website it comes to $274.29 for that part. Calling isn't always an option, I've heard of others calling camelback to get lower prices, if that's the case I'm sure they'd be even lower than the $263.84. Some people don't want to deal with calling to check (I had like 16 parts I ordered and at 1AM is when I did) so online prices were where I had to compare.

I was just comparing camelback to OP's place with shipping yota of dallas was a little more expensive than camelback though on the nose cone.

With Dallas vs Camelback on my specific order, Camelback was free shipping but +tax. Dallas was no tax, but +shipping. The difference was like $6 more at Dallas for my order, so if I didn't have free shipping Camelback would have been more for my order just because the sales tax here in AZ. I'm sure it will differ for specific situations, that's why I wanted to compare when I ordered. Next time I will consider giving them a call to see what kind of deal I can get.
