I see this the other way around in my area. Runners listed as trail models or TRD Off road and when you pull up the pictures, They are all limiteds. It pretty obvious it's not a trail when the 'limited' emblem is right on the side of the rig. Freaking used car dealerships are whacked.

You use an example yet know nothing at all about the history of the superbird and why it existed? Do you know why a Dodge Viper ACR Extreme Aero Package is faster than a base model? The package is more than just appearance. Maybe you're confusing performance and appearance. Improved aerodynamics in sports cars is often THE most important performance package. A unique color and badges... not so much.
Yes, I am aware of the purpose of homologating the Superbird.
I know nothing about Corvettes or Vipers, sorry.
If you think anyone who bought one of the Superbirds could ever take advantage of the package on the street, well, you are delusional. It was an appearance package plain and simple for these buyers.

Always willing to accept friendly advice! I came to this forum to learn about the 4Runner TRD Pro. I just got tired of having the same 3 people shi*ing on every thread where it was discussed.
My wife should have her cavalry blue 4Runner TRD Pro by the end of the month, so I suspect I will have a reduced need to comment in the future, but if I do, I will follow your advice religiously!

This is the ONLY Cav Blue thread that is gotten out of hand, it started off as a joke, as usual a bunch of new users, having no idea of the environment they just walked into, took it serious and got all butt hurt. How about I come to your house, unannounced, uninvited, grab your finest bottle of bourbon, chug it down, start spracking sh!t to your friends about you, then piss on your couch?
That is what every new model year is is like here when a bunch of new users join up (in particular anonymous users are often the worst).
Learn some internet etiquette, or go the fk away. You won't be missed.
How about you take some more advice have some humility when you enter a place you have never been before.

I did not get the sense that they had anyone else interested TRD PROs. They did say they tend to get a decent allocation because they do a lot of higher end business generally speaking (being in Wellesley).
Was very simple process, no bullshit.
