Best window visors?

Once you get over the stigma of "what old men put on their vehicles" you will love them. It's awesome to be able to leave the windows down a crack and allow heat or smells out while parked without rain getting in. I did leave (pardon the pun) the windows cracked on a windy fall day. When I got back in, everything was covered with inches of leafs.

I have the AutoVentShade, in-channel ones. I took a file and ramped the leading edge where the glass has to ride up on them. They are awesome. I think they have a newer design that is even better (I have a newer set on another truck). I did crack the front one from leaning on it ro reach something on the roof. I smooshed some super glue in the crack and it has been like that for years.

the best vent visors are the weather techs. they are better built and thicker. you get what u pay for. =)

The more I look at the WeatherTech's the more I think that they look better. Hmmm gotta add those to the long wish list! Haha

I also have the peel and stick ones. My runner is black so they blend in very well. I personally think the channel ones look weird and out of place being lower on the window.

I use AVS In Channel i have left the window open to parralel to how far down these go, and after a night of snow, not 1 flake got in, rain never gets in. They are pretty strong too, but they aren't as Low profile as the Weathertec's but i like these better.

Just installed these a week ago. I leave my windows open about 3/4", zero issues.

i prefer the look of the stick ons. been super happy with mine. have been through all kinds of weird temperatures and still sticking fine.
regardless of what you pick ...it sure is nice to be able to leave the windows down a crack in rain driving or not.
Also nice to be able to leave down in good weather and the cats cant get in :).

I also have the rain gutter screen mod for the back and no mice get in when in those kind of areas and leave the back windows open. Also good for camping and keeping mosquitoes out. I hate mice and mosquitos

just dont leave open in heavy bear area....as seen in a thread recently on this forum
