Best window visors?

Just installed the hood wind and bug deflector and really like it. The ones I have on my doors are some German company, and they really suck. If its raining even a little, or the car is just wet from rain and I roll my window down, water drips right down my door and into the window switches. So theyre useless as far as I can tell. Are there any you can recommend that actually do what theyre supposed to? Mine also dont seem to stick out too far, it seems to me if they stuck out further theyd be more useful.

I'm using Wade in channel's and they seem to be fine even during a rainy day. They dont stick out far at all either.

I have the Wade's too.

I didn't think you could roll your windows all the way down with rain guards. I thought they were just meant for maybe a quarter to half way down.

Im using EGR In-Channel Rain Guards, and I like!

I dont roll my windows down all the way when it rains though? :wtf:

I use AVS In Channel i have left the window open to parralel to how far down these go, and after a night of snow, not 1 flake got in, rain never gets in. They are pretty strong too, but they aren't as Low profile as the Weathertec's but i like these better.

Looks like the wades is bout the same as weathertech.

Do you guys prefer in channel or the 3m tape on ones? I always thought Id prefer in channel, but looking at the tape on ones I think they actually would cover the door better.

I like my Wades in-channels a lot. The stick on ones suck, they can fall off while you're driving and don't look good IMO. The Wades and Weathertechs are almost the same if not exactly, but the Weathertechs seem to cost $25-50 more than the Wades. The EGRs look nice too. I will say the ginormous stick-on ones will block a little more water, but are not worth it IMO.

I have the AVS stick-on version and I like them but noeverybody's taste but if installed correctly they will not fall off;mine have been on for over 5 years with no problems. Just install them right the first time. In-channels can get a rattle over time and they have been known to fall out but they do look a bit sharper.

Thanks man, those are what Im leaning towards. I agree in channel look better, but I like that the stick ons cover more. And theyre on Amazon right now from AutoPartsDealer for $47.51 shipped.

BTW, our rigs look VERY similar right now I just noticed. You have great taste

I like the stick ons much better for several reasons. I think they look a lot better with no squared off ends like the in-channels have. I also think they stick on much tighter if put on right the first time, and last...you can leave your window all the way down in a raging downpour with hurricane winds and not get a drop of water on your arm rest :wow:

I always thought I preferred the in-channels but a buddy of mine just put some of the peel and stick AVS's on his truck and they look pretty good. The only thing i'm worried about is that his truck is black, so they blend well, my T4R is silver, so I think they will be noticeable, but I don't think that's going to be a bad thing.

Had the weather tech in channels on the 99 when I bought it and they rattled, ALOT! Switched to avs that I had on the 98 looks better and no rattle.
They also cover up to the small window on the rear door for a cleaner look. Just my opinion
