if you see these in person like i have you will want to wait. when these start showing up in tire shops go take a look at them before you search for alternatives. they look really well made and the sidewall tread is really cool

Which ones are shipping? The BFG PDF indicates none are scheduled to ship until November (mostly "E" rated), and the "C" rated LT265/70R17's most of us are looking for aren't slated to be released until March 2015.
I'd LOVE to buy a set of C rated LT265/70R17 KO2's this weekend if they were available! But it looks like my current set of KO's won't hold up until those specific KO2's finally start shipping. Will likely be looking at a new set of old-school KO's before November...

I am looking for the same tire you are. I called Tire Rack today and the guy told me they will be available in November even though the BFG site says March 2015. He said the price was $220 each before shipping and with Tire Rack you have to get them mounted somewhere. I priced the Nitto Exo at the Discount Tire in town and they are $1,163.44 for 4 tires OTD mounted and balanced. They are load range E which I do not really want. They had 4 of the old BFG ko tires 265/70/17 load range C and I asked him what he could sell me 5 tires for and it was $1233.21 OTD mounted and balanced. I thought if I could get 5 tires at a good price I could keep one around for a spare if one got damaged since a new replacement will not be available when the KO2 start production. If I can get the KO2 in load range C in November I may wait. My problem is off road season starts like right now in Arizona and I will not go off road much with my Limited 20's and stock tires. I have new take off 4runner 17" rims setting here just waiting for new tires.Which ones are shipping? Well alright then! I will begin my phone assault on the usual suspects and see what I can come up with.
Worst case scenario, I get 2 of my current KO's swapped out with old-model KO's sometime soon (two are wearing more than the others and causing easy hydroplaning - haven;t rotated as often as I should
) and run like that until the KO2's are actually out. Then buy a set of 4 KO2's, swap one of the "new" KO's as a Spare, and maybe sell the other "new" KO or possibly see if I could trade it in on the KO2 purchase... Thanks for the inspiration to push further

Discount Tire in Houston (League City location) claims these will not be available until March (likely looked at that same PDF!).
Apparently, Michelin either manufacturers or distributes BFG now (what?), and the Michelin Distributor is the one that passed this into down to the guy at Discount Tire. If the Michelin Distributor won't have them, then Discount Tire won't be able to get them (what the guy said).
Looks like I might have to deviate from my favorite tire shop for these last 20 years and look elsewhere. Calling Tire-Rack now
Any other confirmations that the C-Load LT265/70R17 KO2's are actually shipping (even though the BFG PDF clearly states March 2015 for this specific model)?

I guess you talked to a different person than I did at Tire Rack. I do not think anyone has located the tires and all are preorder. The 275/70/17 now says available 11/07/14. As I said in the last post the Tire Rack guy told me he is showing the 265/70/17 load range C will also be available then and even gave me the price but who knows. He did tell me they still have a big stock of the old KO tires and they may be waiting for that stock to go down before selling the KO2.

Will keep blowing them up until we get confirmation either way Will need new shoes pretty soon, and I'd hate to miss the KO2 boat by a matter of days, or to have them purposely withheld until the old KO stock is moved out. Either way, 50K-60K miles comes up pretty quick for me

Are those LT265/70R17/C's? Can't see the size on that tire, and that particular size is one of the ones that aren't slated to ship until March 2015 (according to BFG's own PDF). I'd bet those are the "E" rated ones (are those even 17"s?) that were slated for a November release? (and I'm not looking for those, nor am I on Facebook or care to go to Facebook to look at tires

Hmmm - Is there a chance the official PDF (that states March 2015 for that size & load range) is only for USA Distributors' availability, and maybe some of these "Early KO2 Samples" have been trickling down from Canada that has a different official release date?
Will try to call Costco (not even sure if we have them around here). My current KO's are starting to wear thin and are (of course) having issues in heavy rain - so my time is ticking...

Local Costco (~30 miles away) says "Nope" via phone, but suggested I try to search online - if they appear at any domestic Costco, they can be shipped to my location (good God their Tire Search is SLOW AS MOLASSES!). Either way, if I search by vehicle (2013 T4R SR5) OR tire size (265/70/17), I don't get ANY search results! What a POS!!!
EDIT - OK It finally came back with some results on the 3rd search (what a crappy website!), but only returns the current "KO" model (BFG #12665). No dice. Need BFG # 66255 for the new KO2's.
One plus - if my Costco can get them, they have the Hunter Road Force tire balancer that has proved itself to be the one and only way to balance BFG AT's that I will trust.
The search for LT265/70R17/C KO2's "in the flesh in the domestic US" continues...
