BFG AT KO vs. Stock Dunlops

yup i went with 265/70/17 so that it will fit in the spare. At first i wanted to go with bigger tires maybe 285s but i didn't want to deal with the spare and all the rubbing and trimming. So i just ended up with the 265s. Paid for them today. Gonna have them put on tomorrow morning.

Sweet...please post pics when your done! I want to add a 3" Cornfed lift, but the Wife nixed that idea (it's her vehicle) she's short and she doesn't wanna have to 'hop up' to get in, LOL.

Oh well...so I'll most likely go the same route as you, unless I win this particular battle which is not very likely, she lets me mod my Jeep/Truck/Car so I'll just mention it a few more times, then let it go, LOL, she has already let me put on a Westin UBB/PIAA 540s/Borla Cat-Back/OBX Pedals/Husky Liners and a few other small items...I know when not to push it .

yah i'll try to take a few pics after i get the tires on for you guys to see. I'm going to get the OME suspension soon. I'm just waiting for sleeoffroad to get it back in stock. Like three weeks ago when i was about to order it they said they sold the last set that day and i've been waiting since. That reminds me i have to give them a call tomorrow. At first i was going to go with the cornfed too, but after a few times up in the local mountains offroading i was hooked! So i decided to go with the OME as they perform better offroad than the spacers. So i'm going to have to scrap the XREAS. Hopefully it won't be the wrong choice.

It's a GREAT choice!!! I have an OME lift on my Jeep...LOVE IT! I didn't bring it up to her, she has repeatedly told me how much she loves the OEM ride and I was NOT allowed to change it...sooooo...lol.

yah i will try to get some pics up soon after i wash my truck. there is like a blue film on the sidewall that i need to figure out how to get off. The letters right now is light blue not white because of it. I guess it is the stuff to protect the tire during shipping or something. Well i also just ordered the OME kit yesturday and it should be here sometime next week. So maybe i'll wait till after the install and post up some pics.

You can use simple green to get that blue stuff off. I used that when I put BFGs on my tacoma.

If you don't mind, would you send me a pic ([email protected]) before you put on the OME? I plan on getting those tires for my wife but not the OME.
