Hey guys I have the 265 c ko2 they ride about the same as my 20 s did . thinking about exchanging them and going up to the 275 ko2 ,any thoughts are they gonna be noticiably stiffer than the 265 ko2 ? Which I run at 40 psi . Do they really look that much bigger ? Than the 265s

This is at least the 3rd link you asked this same question. I doubt anyone has had 265 KO2 and replaced them with 275 KO2 tires to give you a direct comparison. If I were you I would just keep what you have. I will say that my 275 KO2 tires are slightly harsher than my stock 20s.

How good or bad are they on ice and snow? I am hesitating getting 265 or 275 since they will be used as winter tires. I am afraid about the handling of the 275 on ice and snow. Here in Quebec, approved winter tires (mountain with snow flake icon) are mandatory and I want to avoid buying 2 sets.

Can't speak about their performance in snow/ice, but the KO2's are mountain snowflake rated so you will meet the Canadian standard that way.

They're reasonably decent, but as a general rule an "all season tire" is really a "no season tire." They're just mediocre at everything, not really excelling at any one thing. Just save up the cash to buy a dedicated set of actual winter tires and you will be a happy man. Try seeing what you can find on Kijiji.

Here's mine - 265/70 Load C, stock suspension. I cranked up the exposure in the first pic to show how they fill the wheel wells. First thing I did when I bought it. Better ride, quieter than the almost new Long Trails that were on there, no change in gas mileage. Much better off-road and in mud than the LTs. If you see my 4R in person, it does not look tire deficient by any means. Most people ask if I'm running bigger tires. :thumb:

Reading through this thread, the thing that confused me is the high inflation pressures which I guess might be an E rated thing. I just run the door sticker-recommended 35psi in mine and they are perfect.

Pull the trigger, man

I have an icon stage 2 and 285/70r17 (fender mods, no bmc). The ride quality was the same for me, quieter than I expected, and looks aggressive but not tacky, I think. I say go for it and if you need help with sizing to avoid rubbing pm me!

^ that looks awesome. I just went with the 265's. I essentially got them for $594 shipped with no taxes, so I couldn't pass them up. Plus I will be on stock suspension for the foreseeable future.

You will like them. Now the decision of black walls or white letters out. I've seen a few with white letters out that make me question my choice to go no white letters.

BFG KO2 285 70 17 (Load Range E)

Just had a Icon Stage 2 and BFG KO2s 285/70/17 on TRD Pro Wheels installed. The shop inflated the tires to 34 PSI. The ride is pretty nice. I am going to try 40 PSI and see how that feels. The Load range E tires should be good with the higher PSI.

Anyhow, they are awesome tires and at 34 PSI, they aren't noticeably harsher or much louder than the stock Bridgestone Duelers.

FWIW....I havent had any rubbing yet. No modifications to the fender/bumper/mud flaps. I still need to run the truck through its paces on a trail where there's some serious articulation, but so far, no rubbing whatsoever.
