I do not know how many miles you need to drive each day with your truck, nor how much weight you need to haul, but you can get good deals on pre-6.0 Fords. Get a 2001 or something, can even go into the 90's if you want (auto trans are weak pionts after 120k though).

I do not know your financial situation, but I would just keep the 4r and go search for a pre 6.0 Ford (2003 1/2 and below). That is if you want a diesel, I do not know about gas engines other than anything from the 90's with a 460 is reliable as heck and sucks gas like it is 89 cents a gallon.

They are Black Rhino Imperial's. I got them through Discount Tire.
