That was worded a little funky, and is a bit hard to decipher, but the part to Blair and I, I am still deciding what tires. I really like the Nitto's, but I am just unsure. I want to do plenty of research before I buy. And with only 9K-ish miles on my Nitto's, I am in no hurry. Maybe BFG or Nitto's in the LT rating.
However, there are a few things I don't like about BFG's from experience, as well as others opinions.
a. not the best hydro-plane resistance
b. they are very good at kicking up rocks, etc.
c. handle poorly in snow
Anything I am missing?

Any tires will kick up rocks because rocks get into those tread grooves. If you want to avoid this, then get Mud-terrains. Trust me, any ATs will kick up stones as do highway tires.
Snow? That is highly debatable. If it was so bad, then how did it get snowflake symbol?? I love how those "haters" mention this and how the snowflake is junk...show me some evidence. Show me where snowflake symbol is worthless. There is not any.
When people go with AT tires, where do they spend their $$ on?? What is the best selling AT tire?? Like i said earlier, yeah, you can look at Tire Rack review, but where do people end up spending their money??

I agree snow is very debatable. Hard packed glazed over snow they were no better than my Revo's , normal mixture snow they performed very well , and I must say that in very very cold weather my Revos did better. It's very subjective.
When I had them on vehicles with and without traction control they were always fine , I do think the Revos were better in wet rain.
I also must say that AT tires will always kick up more stones rocks , I have noticed this too , but it seems the BFG was worse than others I've tried .
Like I've determined , there is no perfect tire , BFG AT remains my favorite AT to this day , has its good points and bad like all of them . I would say it's probably the most aggressive and toughest AT tire that I PERSONALLY have used.

DESPITE what TireRack consumer surveys say, the BFG AT KO is still the best selling AT tire in America. THUS, i wrote that you should look at what people BUY instead of the TR ranking. This is why i do NOT trust TR surveys, among other reasons i wrote before in THIS thread.
BTW, how are sales figures bias??

Well, it's sometimes hard to get points across over the net...it does get frustrating sometimes. The main thing is that...nothing is personal. Take everything with a grain of salt, whether on this forum or other forums. You will always find some form of discussion or disagreement among members of any forum.

No, keep in mind with text it's up to the reader's interpretation. Emoticons help, but without being able to hear how you expressed the above statement, I can't tell if you're pissed off or if you're being sarcastic.
In my line of work, the majority of communication is via email and sometimes instant messaging. Without talking to some of my customers and business partners on the phone, I would never been able to read their sense of humor.
Anything written it's best to keep it professional, so no misunderstanding can be made. For my coworker with a twisted sense of humor, he disagrees with me for using email. He prefers calling the person and BSing around. I use email for two reasons, keeps the conversation short, on topic, no phone tag and more importantly, I have it in writing.
My two cents... and we now return this thread back to regularly scheduled topic.
