Will a 285 tire fit with out significant rub on a 2007 4runner V8 4x4? I have the 2.5" leveling kit installed, no spacers yet, but would consider that if needed. Thanks!

No, a 285 will rub even AFTER significant trimming. Heck, Im even running TC UCAs and I rub on the body mount. Without spacers you may rub on the coil spring / sway bar as well.

I just got some 255/75r17 AT tires on stock wheels. No rubbing at all with stock suspension. I believe they are the tallest tires (32"x10") that will fit without rubbing.

good to know. Here's a question: what size spare do you have? would this size tire fit in the stock spare location??

It's the standard size spare, 265/65r17 which is about a 30.5" diameter. By the looks of it the 32" will fit in that location, plus they will be a little tighter of a fit underneath since the width is half an inch less.

I kept my spare as a 255-75-17 when upgraded. Fits ok.

16, 17 ,18?
65, 70, 75, 80 sidewall aspect ratio?

I ran 285/65/18 with daystar 2.5/1.5, fj coils and ewverything else stock. i had to trim fender flares and liner but no body mount chop like many have reported.

33.2 inch tires!

I went for the General Grabber 33.2 inch tires and they do rub sometimes. I have already gotten the spider track wheel spacers that gave me more clearance from the Upper Control arm, but they rub the wheel well at 1 spot.

I also did the FBM chop that helped, also trimmed the wheel well and front bumper cover. I am pretty happy with these tires so far! Would buy them again.

Next I want the Toytec 3 inch coilovers! would give me another inch or so clearance and probably much better handling than with the leveling kit.
