I'll put my quality engineer hat on for a minute and tell you that if the spec is 32, and I get 31.6... then it's in spec. If you wanted 32.0 you should have specified it as such!

I'm looking for a set of 17 Sequoia Rims, but if I decide against that I have been eyeing the Falken Wildpeak MT01 All Terrain Radial Tire in 265/75R16 with a 123Q rating

32" x 11" with a more aggressive tread for offroad use. 4 for about $720 free shipping and no tax

Anyone running these, how are their road manners, specifically highway?

I had them on my 02, they have very good road manners. Play with the psi for your liking, i ran 38 front 34 rear, great tire in my opinion.

i put on general grabber 32's simply for looks. so some reason i like bigger tires and non lifted rigs.

i mean, come on, who dosent love a big tire...

• 1" BL (made myself, have machine shop in the garage)
• $60 highlander springs
• BFH to flatten the pinch weld

I have GY duratracs. The side lugs will rub the frame at full steering lock. The fronts will also rub off road at certain articualtion and steering angles. I've been driving the 4runner with the above setup for nearly 5 years now. If you know the shortcomings and don't intend to hardcore wheel it, it's fine.

Any ideas on putting 265/17 R16 tires on 16x8 steelies for an '01 SR5?

I currently run the same tire size on the stock 5-spokes that are 16x7 - no rub whatsoever with the current Mickey Thompson STZs.

Looking to bump up to 16x8 wheels w/ the same tire size.

I'm no expert but I think it will fit. I run a 285/70/17 on a 17x8 with minimal trimming.

That's good to know. Just did the math and our current tires arent to far off from eachother.

285s are 11.22" wide x 7.85" tall (sidewall) on yours
265s are 10.43" wide x 7.82" tall (sidewall) on mine

My main concern is having the wider wheel at 8" w/ the 4.25" BS.

Should be OK since I think I read the stock 16x7" 5-spoke run a 4.625" BS. That doesn't sound like a huge change to cause major problems. Little rubbing is OK since its not my DD.
