Biggest Tires with Toytec Ultimate Lift

I was just curious before i purchased this lift, what are the biggest tires that i would be able to fit on this without rub .

Without rub you said.
No rubbing at all with a 275/70/17 with or without a lift.
With a 285/70/17 you will still rub with a lift, on the front mudflap and front inner fender liner,just not nearly as much. FACT!

I rub a bit with 285/70/17 on stock tires/no lift. Will be picking up bilstein 5100's soon to bring the front up and will report back if the rub be gone

Jesse already has the Toytec Ultimate on his TE with the billy's and 285's and is the one that reported minor rubbing . Not a big deal ,slot the holes in the front inner liner and pull it forward a little bit. Take off the front mudflaps or cut out that bump that sticks out, like I did.

I have 305/65/17's which are almost the exact same diameter as the 285's with a 2 inch front leveling spacer and minor rubbed the same place. After trimming I get no rub.

The 285/70/17 Nitto TG's run small compared to other 285's and are almost 1/4" smaller the BFG's in 285 which are a true 33 so maybe you won't rub with a 3/2 lift.

Nice, thanks Harper. Ya that little nub that sticks out for no apparent reason is the only thing I rub on, and just barely. Im going to pick up the billys soon, but if it still rubs I'll trim it out a bit.

Instead of trimming it out, could you heat it up with a heat gun and reshape the nub to go flat? It probably only needs to be moved like 1/2" or something.

I can't believe you're not rubbing in the front. that just doesn't make sense to me. have you looked at the inside of your front splash guard? and how about your UCA? those tires have to be touching something else (at times at least) other than the rear flap.

Maybe because he is running stock wheel and offset.

Jesse, when I was at discount they showed me where it rubs front and back. The part with the nub was about 1/4 inch of space needed, and the part without the nub (cant remember if that was front or back, been in Canada without my truck for two weeks now) just BARELY squeeked by. They said that area might rub, but no biggie. I only hear it at full lock, which is usually only when Im backing out of the garage or a parking space. If I move the steering wheel an inch back from full lock, it goes away.

Anyone know if terra grappler 285/75r17's will fit with a 3/2 lift? I don't mind trimming inner fenders but don't want to trim outer painted fender or body. What's the biggest diameter someone has run on the forum so far? Thanks
