Bilstein 5100 - .85 Pic`s

Just installed 5100s with 0.85" in the front, no lift in the rear.

Looks good. That’s exactly what I’m going with.

I want to put Bilstein 5100 on my 2011. Does anyone know of a good shop in Chicago area?

In my opinion, these 5th Gen 4Runners are a bit deceiving because the rear fenders are cut higher than the front.

If the fender openings are level, the vehicle will be doing the ‘Carolina Squat (sagging in the rear).

When properly leveled, the frame rails and roof line will be level, but the rear fender opening will be about an inch higher than the front.

That makes me feel better about my .85. It appears very level but looking at the fender wells it looks like it still has a big rake. I did nothing in the back but I will be doing the 5100’s in the back also with no spacer etc.

This is my 4Runner,

First picture is stock.

Second one is Bilstein 5100 in all four corners with only the front leveled up to 0.85”.

Third picture is 0.85 in front and 1” Bilstein springs in the rear.

In all pictures: TRD OR stock wheels and BFG KO2 265/70R17 tires, no spacers.

I’ll need to change tires soon and I’m considering 275/70R17, do any of you guys recommend this size of tires for my setup or is there anything I should consider? Thank you

After going through the whole thread, I’m glad this is the last pic I saw. The .85 and 1” in the back seems to be the option I want.

I'm getting the Bilstein B8 6112 shocks and struts for the front and the 5100 springs and shocks for the rear. I have 3 questions. 2011 4-Runner.

1. My question is what setting do I put the fronts on to have a level ride? I usually do not tow anything.

2. An additional question would be go with different shocks (say the 5100) for the front?

3. All of my shocks are leaking and I need to replace all of them. Would it be worth it to do the springs also or save money and just do the shocks?

190,000 miles on the vehicle. Street use only vehicle.

After installing the front 5100’s I have lights on my dash. abs, brake, 4wd (green flashing), slip assist (driving on level street but downshifts as if I’m downhill), and the steering wheel lights on but turns off when out of park.

Anyone know why this is happening?! And I did undo the abs sensor before installing the shocks and double checked their connection after.
