Bilstein 5100 (adjustable) Coils to go with

Good Day,

You have all given me the mod bug bad. My setup is currently OEM and starting to get a little bouncy so i think it is time to replace the shocks and coils. I am going to go with the Bilstein 5100 adjustables I am just curious on what I should go for with my Coils.

I am not a offroad nut (yet) but I know it will only take time so if I could get some direction on this that would be a great help.

Call Wheelers Offroad, get the tundra set up and the Old Man Emu coils I think I have the 883 and 880s have them build the front struts and push in the 4runner size bushings. your vehicle is over tens years old and the harware is probably siezed up I ordered front and back seprate for money availability reasons and total was $850 I think also get a diff drop it will help, but not nessessary. Oh yeah I love the ride i think it gives 2 3/4 " lift.

See I live in Canada and shipping here is rather pricey and most places don't ship to Canada anyway.

I got a call from the vendor that I was purchasing the bilsteins from and they said they only carry the 4600. They all keep recommending Monroe's.

Any thoughts or suggestions on a new path.

I'm in Canada as well. I haven't ordered yet, but was planning on getting shocks from here:

Cochrane Toyota is a Toytec retailer, I picked up Eibach springs and diff drop kit from them. Kyle there was very helpful.

I will definitely look into them. That will definitely fix the rear of the truck lol

The ones on Essex are the heavy duty version will there be a large gain in height? Now I need to find some coils to go with it.

I would suggest the 5100a with stock 99 coils. That's what Im running now and the ride is so much better than any of my previous set ups.

Well I climbed under to check what was going on today and I came across the passenger rear coilover is broken. Top rung of the cool broke so now I need to figure something out tomorrow. I've read decent things on the Monroe's. Anyone have experience with them??

Rear coilover? These 4runners don't have rear coilovers.

They have coil springs in the rear and separate shocks.
