Bilstein 5100 Front and Rear Install Height on the 5th Gen

I installed the Bilstein 5100 front on the 3rd line (1.75) over the weekend. Here are the measurements after installing the front

Front Driver's: 36.75"
Front Passenger's: 36.90"
Rear Driver's: 36.10"
Rear Passenger's: 36.60"

As you can see, I have a reverse rake (front higher than rear) and I don't like the look.

I will be installing the bilsteins on the rear in the next few days.
Anyone has installed front and rear? Is there a height gain on the rear after installing the bilsteins? I am hoping for a 0,5" increase in height after installing the rear.

Can't say what will happen with your scenario BUT I installed the 5100s front and rear. Front set at the 3rd ring and with my mechanics measurements, he stated the front had ~1" drop from the rear.

From my perspective, it does appear to have a slight rake. The objective was to minimize the brake dive and firm the ride, objective met.

Also added the Goodyear DuraTrac's (265\70\17), a little more tire noise than anticipated but livable.

I now have a 4X4 verses a crossover and lovin' every minute of it.

Ct221933,why not just up the front shocks to the 4th position to get2.5" of front lift. Wouldn't that level it out? I'm thinking of getting the front and rear 5100's with the rear 2" Toytec coil.

The rear is currently lower than the front with the front set at the 3rd position. So if move to 4th position, the front is going to get higher.

I think maybe the 3rd row seating added some weight to the rear to cause the rear to be lower. Do you have 3rd row seating?

I might just add 1.5" rear coil (Daystar KT09127BK 1.5" rear spacer) if the rear does not raise by at least 0.5" after the bilstein shock install. The front will then be lower by 1.25 inch maybe.

It wont at all. Have you ever held a shock? You can compress them with your hands, shocks are not weight bearing so they will provide no lift. The front bilsteins can be confusing because you think the shocks are given you lift, they don't, you are just extending the body, but shocks on their own provide no lift.

So for the rear, if you want ANY lift what so ever, you have to buy new coils or spacers.
