Today I crawled down the car and able to locate the loose cotter pin. I secured it to see if this is the source of that tiny noise.
Also, from the picture you can see the oil leaks pretty badly... is this UCA ball joint boot? Should this be treated immediately?? Thanks!

If the boot is not torn don't worry about it. They are non-serviceable so there's nothing you can do regardless. Wipe it off and roll on. If and when the upper ball joint fails then get new upper control arms.

My runner has just 43k miles... During the installation they disconnected the link arm between UCA and LCA. Probably caused the leak after re-assemble.

Again, I wouldn't worry about it if the ball joint boot itself isn't torn. The boot seals out the dirt and debris. If it's not torn the dirt is sealed out and you still have plenty of grease in it... Roll on until it fails....or replace the upper control arm now. Same difference except you toss money now or many years down the road. Your choice.
If you already wanted new upper arms then this could be leverage to use with your wife :thumb: though it's not really true...

Looks just like mine; dealer said it's normal. I believe them on this one.
