I have a 3rd gen with an ARB bumper up front, and plans on adding a winch at some point in the future (currently do not have a winch, though). I
n the back, I will be using LC 8-wraps and Bilstein 5100's, and in the front I will be using the adjustable Bilstein 5100's with the Tundra TRD coils. My question is should I set the front springs to the 2nd or 3rd perch? I've heard that most people go with the 2nd, but then if they add weight to the front, usually end up going to the 3rd. I'd prefer not to have to disassemble the struts a second time in order to re-adjust them.. you do have to disassemble the struts to adjust the perch up / down, right?
I'm currently running 265's, and am already worried about how high the back will sit! We will see, I guess. I just don't want a completely stupid amount of rake if I set it to the wrong perch.
